Due to popular demand we have just brought our biggest van - a long wheel base hi Top Transit. As usual it will run on green fuel and its internal dimensions are 10feet long x 6 feet high

Grass Van gets around
Since its birth in early May, the van has helped at a few events, as do the rest of our fleet (the non grass covered ones!)-here are some of them

Brighton Carnival 2008 float - Sunshine crew We enjoyed pulling the float and sound system through the streets using the van
Brighton Beachdown Festival 2008 We are happy to be supplying all the vans for the festival team. The grass van will be helping them be as eco as possible
Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice in Sussex
The Grass van and loads of green fuel is being donated for a round the uk pier to pier challenge, to raise awareness and funds for this sussex childrens hospital. The challenge starts around sep 2nd covering approx 1,400 miles in around 9 days. More info and how to securely donate...
New project vehicle
Over the next 2 months we plan to create our next project van, it will benefit anyone needing to take items to the recycling tip (which we know our customers do a lot!). We'll be taking an old polluting van off the road once more, and creating a unique green fueled vehicle that you won't miss. Keep an eye out for updates

Huge CO2 savings
At Green Van Hire we are careful to record all refueling details and have created a new tool that reliably estimates the amount of CO2 saved by our vans (launching late june). Here are some recent highlights (up to June 2008) since we have been trading:
